MeOut makes digital knowledge accessible to children in Ukrainian schools!

CEI supports the “MeOut Helps” initiative! The purpose of the project is to provide support to Ukrainian schools in digital transformation.

MeOut Helps program was launched in December 2015 with the aim of facilitating educational development in Ukraine. Recognizing the difficult situation in the country, MeOut team came to the conclusion that students should have modern IT equipment in education. The main goal is to ensure the development process and strengthen the IT skills of the students in the medium and long term.

Results of MeOut Helps up to now:

MeOut Helps has managed several successful campaigns, supported by the local community, the principals, and involved four schools with 1,200 students and 130 teachers.

Results of the projects:

• Development of digital tools in elementary schools and higher education institutions
• Aid worth 45 000 EUR
• Providing laptops and computers, projectors and printers

The project made it possible for MeOut to deliver donations and resources to students and teachers. The situation caused by the coronavirus has also highlighted the importance of digitalization. Teachers and students are able to achieve better results with better equipment. Every young person has the right to reliable information, education, and knowledge. This is how they can develop and enter the labor market with useful digital knowledge.

Attila Sándor, the Founder of MeOut, said when he heard the good news announced by CEI: “Out of seven thousand applications we secured funding… I remember the team working tirelessly on the application…I said, guys! Let’s do it as good as possible to maximize the results for the Transcarpathian, Hungarian, Slovakian, Russian and Ukrainian students! ” We achieved this together, as a team! The project include fifty – seventy laptops for 3-4 schools. We will equip entire IT rooms. ”

Objectives of our current project

Introduction of new methodologies in the spirit of digital transformation

The project will contribute to a significant change in the methodology previously used for education by students and teachers, taking a progressive, new direction. The digital transition in education means new knowledge and methods of presentation and teaching in the regions and cities of Europe in need. Currently, digital devices are not available in sufficient quantity and quality in the region targeted by the MeOut project, which enables innovative IT development in educational institutions.

New softwares and equipments

Within the framework of the project, laptops, conference software, educational aids will be procured and delivered to students at selected Ukrainian schools.

Training for teachers

The project includes training on how to use these tools and softwares, therefore within the framework of the project five-days training will take place. The training allows our professionals to present online educational solutions and provide support.
