CREAM.
Creativity for employment
Intro:
In March 2021, 2.951 million young persons (under 25) were unemployed in the EU, the EU unemployment rate was 7.3% in March 2021(eurostat). Nowadays, the unexpected emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic is bringing more challenges to the world economy, still, the analysts are not sure about the numbers of the expected economic crisis and GDPs decrease. Through this TC, we will work on empowering youth workers and young people to spread a positive message during difficult times: if you believe in yourself and you are willing to work for it, you can reach your objectives. “CREAM” is a training course that wants to answer concerns related to creativity as a means to support youth employment with entrepreneurship.
Expected results of the seminar:
- Develop a stronger understanding of entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship and the connection of creative ideas to creating a personal business.
- To enhance the skills of participants to design and facilitate workshops for promoting entrepreneurship skills by developing sessions containing multicultural values that can later on be transferred to local realities
- To enhance skills to reflect both individually as well as in the group and use it as an effective tool for learning, which can be transferred to their daily job, where they have to constantly analyze their own and youngsters’ development.
- to prepare youth workers to give youngsters knowledge about social, communication and leadership skills.
Concept:
We will approach creativity on different levels and the self-assessment of the new competencies that improve the chance of young people in the labour market composed of a huge diversity of cultures, traditions and habits in the European context. We will work on cases, examples and creativity in practice, involving the participants’ personal experiences. Using non-formal and informal education methods, we will realize a training course which aims to create a supportive community of individuals interested in creative solutions. Moreover, we always seek to help the participants increase their social responsibility, involve the youth in discussions and decision making in an international environment, keep the youth active and enhance their social skills and multilingualism and help the youth workers grow professionally.
The project contributes to:
- give positive answers to the economic crisis and consequent social issues;
- support the soft and hard skills, support the professional development of young people and to raise awareness of the new competencies concerning a diverse Europe;
- experience, discuss and share cultural background and self-assess how it can be used as an additional value for your future employment;

Participant Profile:
- youth workers, young community leaders and members of the partner organizations;
- aged 18+
- young people, unemployed people interested in the field of entrepreneurship;
- experience working with young people
- knowledge of the situation of young people in their own country;
- motivation to take part in a mutual learning process in a very intercultural setting;
- good level of English to follow the seminar and to contribute to it;
- wish and ability to participate fully in the event;
Accomondation and Food:
The participants will be accommodated in Evangelikus Konferencia és Missziói Központ, Balatonszárszó, from two to five bedded rooms.
Each room has a private bathroom and toilet. Bed linens and towels are provided. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners per day will be provided by the organisers.

Travelling to Hungary:
ONLY INTERNATIONAL TRAVELS ARE COVERED!
The travel arrangements will be done by the coordinating organisation. As soon as the participants are selected the project coordinator will get in touch for further arrangements.

The course is implemented in the frame of the Erasmus+ Programme. The costs – including costs of full-board and accommodation during the program – will be covered by the organisers.
Participants are expected to cover insurance and any additional personal expenses.
If the participant fails to attend the event the organisers shall be compelled to charge him/her for any travel expenses covered by the organisers.
