Long-term individual volunteering
Who can participate?
- Age between 18-30.
- Active and open-minded, interested in making new contacts, open towards personal development, eager to learn about other languages and cultures.
- English or Hungarian language speaking skills on a minimum intermediate level.
- Good communicational skills and motivated to interact with local community and support both field and office work.
1. MeOut designer volunteer!
Volunteer’s tasks:
The volunteers will join and support our daily activities as an organization, and in case they have personal initiatives, we will support their ideas.
In cooperation with the members of the organisation, the volunteer will:
- designing style, format, print production and timescales
- developing visual concepts, graphics and layouts
- supporting the organisation in webpage illustrations, logos and websites
- developing creatives for Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin posts and covers
VOLUNTEER’S CONDITIONS:
Accommodation
The accommodation costs are covered. Volunteers will live in a shared flat equipped with all the necessary utilities for comfortable living in downtown Budapest. You will share a big room together with another volunteer.
Allowance
Each month volunteer’s receive a total of 250€ for pocket and food money.
International transport
The transportation from home country to Hungary and back will be covered according to the distance calculator of Erasmus+ program.
Local transport
Each volunteer receives a monthly pass for public transport in Budapest.
In case of travelling outside of Budapest due to work, volunteers’ expenses will be covered by the organisation. Volunteers can choose to have a bike, a public transportation card or 30EUR/month (equal to the cost of the Budapest pass).
Insurance
The volunteer will have Cigna Health insurance.
Language support
The volunteer will have access to the Online Language Support to learn Hungarian.
Volunteer’s training cycle
The volunteer will have on-arrival and mid-term training provided by the Hungarian National Agency.
General support
- Support before, during, after the activities
- Evaluation meetings
- Mentor and supervisors’ support
- Extra certificates if they participate in specific activities (which will report the specific learning outcomes) or recommendation letters if they need one
