Project Description
Are you tired of uninspiring PowerPoint presentations and dull flip charts that fail to engage your audience? MAKE AMAZING VISUALS is here to transform the way you train and communicate!
Specifically designed for trainers and educators who aren’t artists but want to create dynamic, visually engaging materials, this course will revolutionise your approach to delivering information and facilitating learning.
This hands-on workshop will teach you how to craft simple yet powerful flip charts that capture attention, enhance understanding, and leave a lasting impact. Led by Doti, you’ll start from the very basics, learning essential design principles, quick sketching techniques, and the art of visual thinking.
Say goodbye to crowded slides, plain writing, and dull visuals. With this course, you’ll learn to create engaging flip charts that bring your ideas to life, helping you communicate more effectively and making your sessions stand out. No prior artistic skill is required—just a willingness to get creative and see how simple visuals can transform your teaching. You’ll walk away with the ability to elevate your training with visual storytelling that enhances engagement and learning.
Objectives
Through this workshop, participants will:
- Master the fundamentals of illustration
- Develop the ability to draw quickly using simple techniques to create icons, symbols, and shapes
- Gain skills in using color, layout, and space effectively
- Build confidence in visual thinking and drawing
- Acquire the ability to develop visual strategies
Aim:
The aim of this training is to equip trainers and educators with the skills and confidence to create visually engaging materials that improve communication, elevate engagement, and make learning more memorable – without the need for complex software or artistic ability.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of this training, participants will:
- Be able to create visually engaging flip charts that engage people and captivate learners.
- Use colour, layout, and spacing effectively to make visuals clearer and more appealing.
- Gain confidence in transforming abstract ideas into simple, effective visuals, regardless of prior drawing experience.
- Develop the ability to use both physical flipcharts and digital tools to deliver more dynamic, interactive training sessions.
- Build a visual vocabulary

COSTS AND TRAVEL
The travel arrangements will be done by the coordinating organisation. As soon as the participants are selected the project coordinator will get in touch for further arrangements.
If the participant fails to attend the event the organisers shall be compelled to charge him/her for any travel expenses covered by the organisers.
We will buy your tickets in advance, as soon as you confirm your participation we will make you an offer.
The accommodation and food will be covered 100% by the grant of Erasmus+ programme. We have a limited budget for travel costs. According to the restrictions of the Erasmus+ Programme we can only refund up to some of the travel cost, if the following points are fulfilled:
• Your travel route is from your hometown to the venue in Hungary and back (if you are not traveling from your hometown, contact us previously).
• You have chosen reasonable and economic means of transportation (cheap airlines, 2nd class trains, etc., NO TAXI)
• Your travel dates are according to the programme
• You have a receipt or invoice for the cost of your plane ticket and the boarding cards or the train/bus tickets
About the Venue
Location: Balatonszárszó, Hungary

The participants will be accommodated in shared rooms, 2-5 per room. Breakfasts, lunches,
and dinners, will be provided by the organizers.
All the instructions on how to arrive at the venue will be sent by email.
REMINDER: We will also ask for the boarding passes, bus/train/metro tickets so be
sure to keep them!
About the Trainer
Hi! I’m Doti, and I’m passionate about making visual communication accessible to everyone! I truly believe that creating engaging visuals isn’t just for artists – it’s a natural skill we all possess. As an illustrator, I simplify complex ideas through engaging images – whether for education, training, or storytelling. As a live graphic recorder, I capture key moments of events in real-time, helping participants retain important content through visual notes.
For over six years, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects. I worked with Neslé, Guinness, Johnny Walker, Unicef, MBH Bank, EU Commission in the field of Youth, Red Cross and many more- My aim is to help others tap into this innate skill and make their messages stand out.
If you join my training, I’ll bring my passion for creativity and my belief that visuals are for everyone—making it easy for you to unlock your potential and use visuals to communicate in a more powerful way.
Checklist / What to do & what to bring:
Towel and your own hygiene equipment ( shower gel, shampoo, ect.)
Medicine (in case you need, you know what works best for you)
Health insurance documents: the health/ travel insurance is in the responsibility of the
participants, make sure you are covered during your trip.
Participants will be asked to bring their European Insurance Card and we will have available
transportation to a nearby hospital in case of emergency.
