Goals and Objectives

Sharing the European Thought: Facilitate discussions and exchanges that highlight European values and perspectives.

Enhancing Knowledge: Improve participants’ knowledge on specific topics through workshops and seminars.

This project is open to groups of young individuals aged 18 to 30, who are open-minded and interested in politics. Each group should consist of four members, including a team leader who can be older than 30.

Participants profile

Europa-Forum Wachau has been bringing together young Europeans for insightful discussions and cultural exchanges. Participants will engage in various activities, including seminars, workshops, and cultural nights, over a period of four days.

Event Dates: June 19th-22nd, 2024
Location: Stift Göttweig, near Krems, Austria

Travel grants are available for participants, with specific amounts allocated based on the country of origin:

Hungary: 180€

Participants must be between 18 and 30 years old. Each group should consist of four members, with the possibility of the team leader being older than 30.

The event will be held at Stift Göttweig, near Krems, Austria.

Schedule

June 19th: Arrival and registration.
June 20th-21st: Workshops, seminars, and cultural activities.
June 22nd: Closing ceremony and departure.

Accommodation and Travel

Transfer: A bus will be organised from Vienna Hauptbahnhof to Stift Göttweig, departing at 2:30 pm.
Accommodation and lodging: the participants will be accommodated in Stift Göttweig, three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) per day are provided.

Participants should bring snacks and drinks for the intercultural night. Specific dietary requirements must be communicated to the organisers in advance.

Participants should document their travel and bring necessary materials for note-taking and participation.
